Dampak Pemahaman Tentang Kasih Karunia Berdasarkan Roma 5 : 1-11 Terhadap Perilaku Hidup Orang Percaya

Abstract. The behavior of believers is influenced by various factors. One of them is the believers’ understanding of the word of God. The believers’ understandingof the owrd of God about God’s grace based on Romans 5:1-11 certainly influences the believers’ behavior. This study aims to determine the impact of the believers’ understanding on believers’ behavior. The understanding of grace is based on Romans 5:1-11 and the understanding of the believers’ understandingof the believers’ behavior is based on various literature. This study was conducted among the congregation of the Moria Chritstian in Medan (GKMI) with a sample 68 people.From the results of the study, it was found that the impact of believers’understanding of grace on Romans 5:1-11 signifcantly affects thee behavior of believers. This result is in accordance with exixsting hypothesis. Believers’ understanding of God’s grace that has been bestowed upon them has lived in peacewith God, obtained access to grace, boasted in tribulation, will be saved from the wrath of God; and will certainly be saved by His life, of course, has an impact on the behavior of believers.
Abstrak. Perilaku hidup orang percaya dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Salah satu di antaranya adalah pemahaman orang percaya atas firman Allah. Pemahaman orang percaya atas firman Allah tentang kasih karunia Allah berdasarkan Roma 5:1-11 tentu mempengaruhi perilaku hidup orang percaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pemahaman orang percaya terhadap perilaku hidup orang percaya. Pemahaman tentang kasih karunia didasarkan pada Roma 5:1-11 dan pemahaman terhadap perilaku hidup orang percaya didasarkan pada berbagai literature. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kalangan jemaat Gereja Kristen Moria Medan (GKMI) dengan sampel sebesar 68 orang. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dampak pemahaman orang percaya tentang Kasih Karunia berdasarkan Roma 5:1-11 secara signifikan mempengaruhi perilaku hidup orang percaya. Hasil ini sesuai dengan hipotesa yang ada. Pemahaman orang percaya tentang kasih karunia Allah yang dianugereahkan kepadanya: telah hidup dalam damai sejahtera dengan Allah; beroleh jalan masuk kepada kasih karunia; bermegah dalam kesengsaran; akan diselamatkan dari murka Allah; dan pasti akan diselamatkan oleh hidup-Nya tentu berdampak terhadap perilaku hidup orang percaya.
