Pemahaman Jemaat GBI AM terhadap Doktrin Kasih Karunia dan Relevansinya terhadap Pertumbuhan Rohani dalam perspektif Teologi Reformed-Injili (Studi berdasarkan Efesus 2:1-10 dan Roma 5:1-11)

Abstract
This study aims to describe the GBI Antiokhia Medan congregation's understanding of the doctrine of God's grace and examine how this understanding is relevant to their spiritual growth. This study employed a qualitative, descriptive-phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews with several GBI AM congregation members. Two biblical texts form the the theological foundation of the study : Ephesians 2:1-10 and Romans 5:1-11, which emphasize that salvation is received solely by God’s grace. The findings indicate that, in general, the congregation understands grace as an undeserved gift from God. However, some members still tend to associate it with human efforts to "repay" that grace through good deeds. Analysis from a Reformed-Evangelical theological perspective highlights that a proper understanding of grace fosters a humble, grateful, and Christ-centered spirituality. Based on these findings, the study recommends that spiritual formation programs at GBI Anthiokia Medan emphasize grace as the foundation principle for the congregation's spiritual growth.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman jemaat GBI Antiokhia Medan terhadap doktrin kasih karunia Allah dan menelaah bagaimana pemahaman tersebut relevan terhadapa pertumbuhan rohani mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-fenomenologis melalui wawanara mendalam dengan sejumlah jemaat GBI AM. Dua teks Alkitab yang menjadi dasar teologis penelitian adalah Efesus 2:1-10 dan Roma 5:1-11, yang menekankan bahwa keselamatan adalah anugerah semata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum jemaat memahami kasih karunia sebagai pemberian Allah yang tidak layak diterima. Namun sebagian anggota masih cenderung mengaitkannya dengan usaha manusia untuk “membalas” kasih karunia dengan perbuatan baik. Analisis dari perspektif teologi Reformed-Injili menegaskan bahwa pemahaman kasih karunia yang benar melahirkan spiritualitas yang rendah hati, penuh rasa syukur, dan berpusat pada Kristus. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pembinaan rohani di GBI Antiokhia Medan menekankan kasih karunia sebagai fondasi utama dalam pertumbuhan rohani jemaat.
